The Origin Story
Eric Gray never set out to build a racing team. He simply wanted more time with his son.
It began with Liam's homemade budget for go-karting, a plan he shared with his dad. Eric saw more than a hobby; he saw an opportunity to build something meaningful together. He surprised Liam with a small rented garage at the local kart center in Orlando and two used karts they could repair, tune, and race side by side.
They learned through long nights in the shop, race-day nerves, breakdowns, crashes, repairs, and the friendships formed in the paddock. As they moved into faster, more competitive karts, one thing became clear: Liam had a rare focus and a genuine passion for racing.
Today, at eighteen, Liam is competing his way up the Porsche motorsport ladder. But the journey has never been about handing him a seat or buying an outcome. He trains, studies data, works with driving, strength, and sports-psychology coaches, and reviews every race, whether he wins or loses. He also paints custom race helmets to help fund his own progress.
Every decision is made together in the Orlando shop where their next chapter is built: what to race, when to push, when to reset, and what it takes to keep moving forward.
This is more than a race-car story.
It is the story of a father choosing to show up during the years that shape a young man's future, not with lectures, but with time, hard work, accountability, and unwavering belief. Every week, in the shop, at the track, and on the road, Eric and Liam are building more than a racing career.
They are building a legacy, and inviting the right partners to be part of it.

As the visionary behind GPM, Eric balances the demanding roles of business owner, team manager, and co-driver. He also owns Designer Trade Services (luxury remodeling, Orlando, since 1997) and Sunstate Air Sealing (Tampa), and brings that same disciplined operator mentality to every race weekend.
His approach is methodical: the same level of excellence expected in the shop is demanded on the track. No excuses. No shortcuts. Just relentless preparation.
